Technical Summary
A classic comedy panel show setup comprising of 6 conventional HD system cameras, a Ross Xpression graphics machine and play-in from up to four channels of EVS. We ingest content from external edit suites and AfterFX in baseband and have an “off-air” feed available for any late breaking news. In addition to the conventional role of the vision mixer cutting the show a second vision mixer operates an ME panel cutting the panel guests monitor feeds so they’re always seeing the gags. As the programme is transmitted 24hrs after recording the edit house watch the recording via WebRTC and we deliver the cut using Massive IO in near real time.
